A best friend….the one who has been through everything with you. She has seen you at your worst and loved you anyway. She encourages you to make good choices and comforts you when you realize you’ve made mistakes.

From first relationships, to first breakups, to telling her you have found the one…. these milestones in life just wouldn’t be the same without her support.  And much like the infamous Grey’s Anatomy quote, she is your person.

Last week, I had the opportunity to witness another milestone in my best friend’s life….the proposal.  I couldn’t have been happier to see the complete shock on Shelby’s face when Brandon got down on one knee. All of the sneaking around and planning with Brandon and Shelby’s family had finally come to fruition. And that ring! He did good didn’t he?
